Surf Therapy programs

Surf Therapy is a recognized therapeutic modality that combines surfing/surf instruction with individual/group activities to promote psychological, physical, and psychosocial well-being. Along with receiving beginner or intermediate surf coaching, participants will engage in embodied learning through mindfulness, mental health awareness and tools, and community. Anyone who is looking to deepen their recovery and learn how to connect with their mind, body and spirit through surfing and the ocean.

Surfing teaches us to be mindful and that we can be a part of something bigger than ourselves. It can be our greatest teacher in letting go, being present and having fun. Surfing is the perfect context for learning to live more mindfully or addressing fear, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, grief, or other daily life struggles. Our surf therapy programs are intentionally curated to welcome you and meet you exactly where you are - no surf experience is required!

*Surf therapy is for all experiences of surfers. There is no prior swim or surf experience required

We also offer free monthly community events and drop ins, including beach clean ups, surf workshops, mindfulness, yoga and more!
